Rawr's lollipop tutorial by numb-existence Rawr's lollipop tutorial by numb-existence
Finally done! This took forever but I hope this gives you guys some incite on what it takes to make some earrings. If you guys do decide to make it please take a pic and show me i'd love to see it! ^_^

For the cooking times they may vary just take em out when they're brown. ( So just keep checking them. )

I will try to answer any and all questions you guys may have.

Good luck!

UPDATE: Hey guys can't believe so many of you like this tutorial! :) Unfortunately is is massively outdated and I will be making more sometime in the future. You can still use the tutorial just there are easier methods than this which I will be putting up in future. So keep watching! :D

Gotta tip for you: You really need to try "Fimo clay". Its really awesome and you don't need to paint it because its clay that allready has a color!

would this tutorial still work with colored clay instead of paint?

Well the majority of it is painted but you could still make the lollipop shape with this tutorial. I'll be remaking this tutorial soon and i'll add a color version to it. :)

baking them for one hour is way too long. 20-30 minutes will do it. It's not meant to look brown when you use white clay. If it's brown it means it's burnt.

so when you bake them for a shorter period it will still look white so you won't have to paint them anymore :)

Thank you for bringing that up TerroristFlower :) At the time when I made this tutorial that is how I thought it was done. I do know now that it means they're burnt. This tutorial is very old and needs an update badly LOL

thank you again though :)

I get mine from a dollar store. :) You could also take em off cheap earrings =P But if you can't find them in a dollar store they'd defiantly be in a craft store.

You can get earring findings at some craft stores, or from specialty bead shops. You can also buy online.

[link] has lots of findings.

Some etsy sellers have findings too.
